Eliminating Physical Cards and Increasing Retail Efficiency

In collaboration with Bell Canada, one of Canada’s largest telecommunications companies, Nexu developed a web-based POS solution for the purchase of wireless products at Bell retail locations.

Nexu implemented its eFresh™ technology to enable Bell retailers to easily obtain prepaid wireless PINs for their customers through a web application that works seamlessly with Bell’s web-based POS terminals. For this particular application, Nexu customized a solution specifically for Bell in order to use the customer’s existing authentication system, at their request. Bell stores no longer need to carry physical scratch card inventory and have eliminated any of the security risks associated with carrying live scratch cards. Additionally, Bell stores are now able to easily cross sell other Bell brands within their stores.

This integration demonstrates how the eFresh™ software was customized to meet the retail requirements of Bell and contributed to increased efficiency, enhanced customer service and security at hundreds of Bell stores across Canada. Further, it demonstrates the flexibility of Nexu’s technology, highlighting its compatibility with a web interface as an endpoint device.
